Dywanne Harris is a Godly man, anointed and appointed to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his music. As a child growing up in St. Louis, his family lived near a firehouse and he loved to hear the fire engines passing by, developing in young Dywanne aspirations of becoming a fireman. But, little did he know God had a different plan for him. Dywanne began playing the piano around the age of twelve; his teachers Dr. Robert Ray and Dr. Curtis Duncan nurtured and encouraged Dywanne in his musical gift, which opened up doors for him to display his God-given talents.

At the age of seventeen, Dywanne began hanging out in the streets. While he was running the streets, he became entangled in the world of selling drugs and became a member of the notorious street gang known as the “Bloods”. On May 30th, 1992, a young thug put a gun to his head with the intentions of killing him. There were three bullets fired at point blank range and he was hit in his upper right shoulder. Mercy said no and the other bullets never touched him! From that day forward Dywanne made a vow to walk with the LORD and follow in His ways. He is heaven bound instead of hellbound and is thoroughly convinced that no one or no thing separates him from the love of Christ!

Since committing his life and talents to God, Dywanne has been blessed to work with some of today’s hottest Gospel artists. Dywanne has had the pleasure of working with Gospel legends: Pastor Hezekiah Walker, The Clark Sisters, John P. Kee, Fred Hammond and Radical for Christ, Dottie Peoples and platinum recording artist Kirk Franklin. His diligence landed him an opportunity to work with The Allen Brothers and Isaac Hayes
and Sacred Praise, which lead to an anointed appearance on the Bobby Jones Gospel Show! He has also been requested to play for Gospel greats like Vickie Winans and Walter Hawkins. He has produced, composed and arranged music for several plays and live recordings, which opened the door for him to play for national recording artist Praiz. He can be heard playing piano on Praiz’s soul-stirring song “Deliver Me”. God has been blessed Dywanne to travel all around the world spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ through his music.

God has also given grace to Dywanne to open a multitrack recording studio and from that he has blessed the world with two amazing jazz projects called “My Inspiration” and “Christmas with Rhoda and Dywanne” featuring the dynamic saxophonist Rhoda Graham. With the dawn of his third project “Hellbound”, Dywanne plans on taking the message of the Gospel on a global level, testifying to the nations of the goodness of God and winning souls to the Kingdom. Ultimately, Dywanne wants the glory of God to be seen in his life and show the world how truly thankful he is that God saved him.
